In 2023, the Farmers Market Fund held an electronic Double up Food Bucks (eDUFB) pilot at one Oregon farmers market. DUFB scrip was digitized with the intent to prepare for SNAP modernization, reduce admin burden, and ease use of benefits at farmers markets. At the end of the pilot, Farmers Market Fund concluded that they would not continue the eDUFB pilot and shifted capacity to alternative modernization efforts. The full report in linked below.
