Designing Health and Shopper-Centered Spaces
While this series of lessons on applying Behavioral Economics to create shopping spaces that encourage healthy eating and center the knowledge and needs of customers was originally designed for food pantries and with the goal of reducing sodium intake in mind, its lessons are applicable to farm stands, as well as farmers markets and other sites where customers are making food purchasing choices. This series of short video lessons may be helpful to farm stand operators especially, in designing a space that encourages customers to use incentives and make healthy buying choices.
